I try on a hat -
Categories: I tried on a hat this Christmas:
I drew it from the White Elephant stack, and I was a bit surprised at its flamboyance. I tend to wear less pimpy hats.
My cousin Rachel took it off my hands, er, head.
I ended up with a remote control toy car. It's amazing how well-made toys are these days.
When I was very young (I'd gueess: seven) I received a metal alligator that wound up for locomotion. My judgment at the time was: Not bad for something made in Japan.
The things kids say.
A few years later my mother gave me the robot I wanted. I still have it. Pretty cool robot. But it doesn't move by remote control.
